Sites Covered by this Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement applies to all Virtual Options-maintained Web sites, domains, information portals, and registries.

Children’s Privacy

The Virtual Options is committed to protecting the privacy needs of children, and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests. The Virtual Options does not intentionally collect information from children under the age of 13, and the Virtual Options does not target its Web site to children.

Links to Non-Virtual Options Web Sites

Our website contains links to other websites. This privacy policy only applies to this website, so when you link to other websites you should read their own privacy policy. The Virtual Options’s Web site may provide links to third-party Web sites for the convenience of our users. If you access those links, you will leave the Virtual Options’s Web site. Virtual Options does not control these third-party Web sites and cannot represent that their policies and practices will be consistent with this Privacy Statement. For example, other Web sites may collect or use personal information about you in a manner different from that described in this document. Therefore, you should use other Web sites with caution, and you do so at your own risk. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any Web site before submitting personal information.

Types of Information We Collect

We collect information about you when you register with us to receive information from us including our email newsletter. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys, provide feedback and use our website contact form. Website usage information is collected using cookies.

Non-Personal Information

Non-personal information is data about usage and service operation that is not directly associated with a specific personal identity. Virtual Options may collect and analyze non-personal information to evaluate how visitors use the Virtual Options Web site.

Aggregate Information

The Virtual Options may gather aggregate information, which refers to information your computer automatically provides to us and which cannot be tied back to you as a specific individual. Examples include referral data (the Web sites you visited just before and just after our site), the pages viewed, time spent at our Web site, and Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you access the Internet. For example, when you request a page from one of our sites, our servers log your IP address to create aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns and for purposes of system administration.

Log Files

Every time you request or download a file from the Web site, Virtual Options may store data about these events and your IP address in a log file. Virtual Options may use this information to analyze trends, administer the Web site, track users’ movements, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use or for other business purposes.

Cookies

We use cookies and other technologies on our own websites so that we can better provide services to you, and achieve our business marketing objectives.

What is a Cookie? — A cookie is a very small text document, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier. When you visit a website that uses cookies, the corresponding web server asks your computer for permission to store this file in a part of your hard drive specifically designated for cookies. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser’s preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites. You can disable cookies by changing your browser settings, but this may disable certain functionality on websites that use cookies.

What Are Web Beacons, Clear Gifs, and Pixels? — These are three names for the same technology: a small or invisible image or other loadable element that can work independently or in connection with cookies to record certain technical or behavioral information regarding whether certain content has been delivered and accessed or viewed.

Do Not Track — Our site and associated service provider technology currently do not recognize “do not track” signals that may be sent by certain browsers. You are free to give or refuse consent of our privacy policy.

Cross-Device Engagement — If you use various devices to access relevant websites or services, our cookies and other technologies may use automated analysis to try and match your anonymous profile across your various devices. This enables us to better serve advertisements that may be of interest to you, and may also help us prevent you from seeing the same advertisements on various devices.
